McCarthy Park

McCarthy Park is a small park located in Marysville. It contains a playground, soccer field, basketball court, and tennis courts. The park also has two picnic pavilions with grills, one of which is handicap accessible. The McCarthy Park ball field is home to the Marysville Red Sox youth baseball program and the Northcoast Soccer Club.

The field also hosts other local sporting events, including the annual Marysville Fourth of July fireworks display. McCarthy also has a walking trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. The walking trail provides visitors with a great view of the city and its historic homes.

Aldersgate Park

Aldersgate Park is a lovely nature preserve located in Marysville. The park contains a variety of trees and plant species, including several that are native to the area. It has picnic tables, walking paths, and a playground for children of all ages. The park also has an excellent view of the surrounding area. Aldersgate Park is open from dawn to dusk during the spring, summer, and fall months of the year.

The park also has a walking trail that goes around the perimeter of the park, where you can enjoy nature while getting your daily exercise. The main attraction at this park is its swimming pool. It’s open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, and it’s free for residents to use!

Schwartzkopf Park

Schwartzkopf Park is a great place to take the family for a picnic or just some fun in the sun. It is located in Marysville and is also known as Marysville Park. There are swings and slides for children, but be aware that these are usually in shaded areas of the park. Schwartzkopf Park has plenty of open space for running around and playing games. You can also go fishing here during the summer months.

There is no charge to visit this park. This park has some great features that make it an excellent choice for families with children. There are several shelters available by reservation only, and they have electricity, so you can plug in your electronics while you enjoy your time outside!
