Meet the 2023 Chevy Equinox

Trim Levels

Drivers can choose from four different trim levels for the Equinox. The base-level LT comes loaded with Chevy Safety Assist, LED headlamps, and a seven-inch touchscreen. The LT adds a power driver seat with power lumbar control.

Upgrading to the RS adds a power liftgate and front and rear park assist. The power liftgate is operated by touching a button. The top-tier Premier adds a hands-free gesture liftgate that senses the key fob. This feature makes it easy to load and unload the SUV’s spacious cargo area.

Engine

Chevrolet has equipped this model with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. It delivers a maximum of 175 horsepower and up to 203 lb.-ft of torque.

Lots of Cargo Space

One of the best things about the Equinox is that it’s a compact SUV with lots of thoughtful spaces for cargo. For example, there is hidden storage underneath the rear cargo floor. The second row is a split-bench seat that folds down. When folded down, the vehicle has a maximum cargo volume of 63.9 cubic feet.

The available cargo package adds a retractable cargo shade to help keep your groceries cool. The package also includes a vertical cargo net to keep your items organized.

Exterior Color Choices

There are eight different exterior color choices for the Equinox. These start off with summit white, sterling gray metallic, mosaic black metallic, iron gray metallic, and blue glow metallic. Additional options include an iridescent pearl tricoat, radiant red tint, and harvest bronze metallic.

Advanced Safety Assist Technology

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on every trim level and comes with six features. These include automatic high beams, front pedestrian braking, and a following distance indicator. There is also a forward collision alert and an automatic emergency braking feature. Additionally, there is a lane keep assist paired with a lane departure warning.

A rear vision camera is standard. Available features for the Equinox include front and rear park assist, which becomes standard on the RS trim level. More available options include adaptive cruise control, a rear cross-traffic alert, and HD surround vision.

Infotainment

A seven-inch diagonal touchscreen is standard on the LT, LS, and RS trim levels. It comes with Bluetooth technology, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and voice command. A six-speaker sound system is standard.
