The inside of a 2023 Chevrolet Colorado.

The 2023 Chevy Colorado is a versatile pickup that has been revamped in many ways over its predecessor, and drivers are loving it. In addition to its comfortable cabin and stunning technology, it offers a new standard eight-speed automatic transmission, more off-road-ready performance options, and plenty of other exciting changes. Here’s an overview of what this popular pickup has to offer and why you should schedule a test drive with us to experience it up close.

Performance

Among the 2023 Colorado’s five impressive trims comes incredible performance in all, including a best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds. For everyday driving, the LT trim offers a 2.7-liter turbo engine with 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque, as does the WT trim, though the latter option is a workhorse that’s perfect for tougher jobs.

Three trail-ready trims are also available and all come with a high-output version of the same 2.7-liter engine, which delivers increased horsepower and torque. In the new Trail Boss and Z71 trims, this engine delivers 310 horses and 390 pound-feet of torque, while the most versatile trim in the group, the ZR2, offers the same horsepower but with 430-pound feet of torque.

Design

The Colorado’s interior provides comfort and style, regardless of which trim you decide to go with. In addition to heated and ventilated seats and stitched kneepads on the doors, there are plenty of unique interior color schemes available, including Jet Black with red or silver accents and Artemis with Strike Yellow accents.

Securing cargo in the bed of the vehicle is no problem, as there are 17 available tie-downs: more than any other truck in this class. Also, the StowFlex Tailgate has a lockable storage container built directly into it, which can be drained if you need to use it to cool items.

Technology

To stay entertained and in touch with others while out on the road, the truck’s infotainment system offers Apple and Android compatibility and an 11.3-inch touchscreen with voice command functionality, which pairs perfectly with the extra-large wireless charging pad for smartphones.

While driving off-road, the new Off-Road Performance Display keeps you informed of the vehicle’s performance at all times, and with 10 different camera views, more than the competition can offer, you can see full-color trail views from virtually all angles.

Safety

As for the vehicle’s safety systems, there’s Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian Braking. Together, these features can warn you whenever pedestrians or other vehicles are in your path while bringing the vehicle to a stop to avert collisions whenever necessary.

If you happen to forget to turn your high beams on or off when lighting conditions change, the IntelliBeam Auto High Beam feature can automatically do that for you.

The 2023 Colorado is unlike other trucks in its class, as it combines style, comfort, and advanced technology with unparalleled off-road capabilities. To schedule this versatile mid-size pickup for a test drive, contact us today at Coughlin GM of Marysville.
