Silverado 1500 Basics

The 2022 Chevy Silverado comes in nine available trims: WT, Custom, Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, ZRT, and High Country. Each style of the Silverado comes with eight exterior colors and one interior color. Two additional exterior colors come with select trims.

A 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8, the 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel, and the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 are all available powertrains. Chevy continues the options with the standard rear-wheel drive or the upgraded four-wheel drive. If you are looking for the right truck to haul the hot-air balloon payload to the All Ohio Balloon Fest, the 2022 Silverado 1500 can handle it all.

Silverado Features

Chevy makes sure to keep up with the next generation. The Silverado’s technology and bed are above the competition for this class of trucks. The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system comes standard across every trim and features an 8-inch touchscreen for the LT, RST, and LT Trail Boss trims.
 
Equipped with eight cameras with up to fourteen angle views, the Silverado provides plenty of exterior vision for the driver. Chevy’s Advanced-Trailering System helps monitor hauling any payload. Included are trailer-lighting diagnostics, trailer tire pressure/temperature monitoring, and more in the In-Vehicle App.

Exterior Style

The exterior also has new top-class construction with updated LED headlamps, grilles, and bumpers. The truck bed has 12 standard tie-downs, 89.1-cubic feet of cargo volume, and a Power-Up/Power-Down tailgate.

Chevy’s ZR2 trim, for the first time in the Silverado, comes with an off-road chassis and suspension calibrations. The ZR2 has large underbody aluminum skid plates and front and rear electronic locking differentials. The tailgate has options with the six-function multi-flex option that makes unloading anything simple. With the flexible tailgate, making tee time at Muirfield Village Golf Club is not a worry.

Safety Specs

Along with the interior features and exterior functionality, Chevy makes sure to keep safety a priority. This truck has forward-collision alerts, automatic emergency braking, lane change alert with blind zone alert, a read camera mirror, and more.
