What Each 2025 Buick Encore GX Trim Offers

Preferred

The Encore GX Preferred is Buick’s base model. The Preferred comes equipped with a 1.2L Ecotec Turbo engine, featuring 30mpg highway fuel economy and 31mpg in the city. It is capable of up to 137 horsepower. If you’re wanting more power, a 1.3L option is available for you to consider. However, it’s important to note that the 1.2L is not available for higher trims.

The Preferred comes with the essentials, along with an array of optional features. All trims come standard with an 11″ diagonal touchscreen infotainment system, an 8″ Driver Information Center, 6-speaker audio systems, and a trial subscription of SiriusXM radio, which automatically expires unless you choose to keep it. Optional features include Adaptive Cruise Control, an Advanced Technology Package (control volume levels, phone calls, and more directly through the steering wheel), All-weather floor liners and mats, and so much more.

Sport Touring

Formerly known as the “Select” trim, the Encore GX Sport Touring is an upgrade over the Preferred trim. Instead of the Preferred’s 1.2L engine, the Sport Touring comes standard with a 1.3L Turbo Ecotec engine. This engine is slightly more powerful than the Preferred, offering up to 155 horsepower. Despite this power increase, fuel mileage is still comparable with the 1.2L, providing 29 city mpg and 31 highway mpg.

The Sport Touring also comes with trim-exclusive 18″ Black Gloss aluminum rims. A 19″ option is also available, still exclusive to the Sport Touring trim. For further exterior customization, Buick offers a black roof option for this trim. Another roof option is the Experience Buick Package, which offers a panoramic moonroof, bundled with the 19″ wheels.

Avenir

The Avenir trim is the highest trim available for the 2025 Encore GX. The Avenir comes standard with the same 1.3L Ecotec Turbo engine as the Sport Touring trim. The 18″ wheels are swapped out and replaced with 19″ Premium Pearl nickel aluminum wheels, available only for the Avenir. This trim boasts luxury with an array of exclusive cosmetic and tech features.
 
The Avenir offers two main tech enhancement packages. Its Technology Package converts the center column storage into a wireless charging station for mobile devices. The rear view mirror is upgraded to a Rear Camera Mirror. Adaptive Cruise Control is included as well. The Avenir Convenience Package further enhances the Encore’s functionality, upgrading the vehicle with a hands-free rear liftgate, parking assists, automatic Rainsense wipers, and much more. To top it all off, the Convenience package features a premium 7-speaker Bose sound system.
