Cabin

You can fill the Traverse with friends and family because it has a seating capacity for up to seven passengers. There's an 8-way power driver seat that makes even the longest drives more comfortable behind the wheel, along with a 4-way manual front passenger seat. The second row has a SmartSlide passenger seat, and the third row bench can be reconfigured to provide you with more cargo room.

Safety features in the new Traverse include two advanced safety packages: Chevy Safety Assist and Safety Package 1. Chevy Safety Assist comes with basic driver-assistance functions, like forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking. Safety Package 1 contains the following:

Technology

The 2025 Traverse has a 17.7-inch color LCD infotainment system that has Google built-in compatibility. Install Google built-in to use Maps for live navigation or Assistant to get in-cabin personal reminders for important appointments. The Traverse also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, so you can pair your phone to the SUV for hands-free phone calls and texting.

The new Chevy Traverse is also Wi-Fi hotspot capable, providing internet service on up to ten different devices. This hotspot works within fifty feet of the Traverse, allowing you to use the internet when you're spending time outdoors.

Exterior

The Chevy Traverse comes with 18-inch Grazen Metallic aluminum wheels that add a striking touch to the SUV's already bold exterior. Body color options for the 2025 Traverse include Lakeshore Blue Metallic, Harvest Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.

The Traverse has an AutoSense power liftgate that can open without intervention when you stand near the back of the vehicle with your key fob, while the heated power mirrors have integrated turn signals that help clearly communicate lane changes.

Performance

The Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a 2.5L turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination is capable of yielding 328 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 326 lb-ft of torque at 3500 rpm.
