2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The Trailblazer is available in head-turning two-tone paint options, such as Nitro Yellow Metallic and Summit White or Vivid Orange Metallic and Summit White. Four trim levels are offered: the LS, LT, Activ, and RS. The base trim is equipped with 17-inch aluminum wheels, halogen headlamps and taillamps, and signature LED daytime running lamps. With the LT trim, you receive deep-tinted glass, LED fog lamps, heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, and roof-mounted side rails. The Activ trim features sport-terrain tires, a functional front skid plate, and LED taillamps, while the RS trim comes with 18-inch machined-aluminum wheels and a dual-outlet exhaust.

Two engines are offered with the new Trailblazer. The standard 1.2-liter turbo engine pairs with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and generates 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive comes standard. If you want an all-wheel-drive system, opt for the available 1.3-liter turbo engine. This powertrain features a nine-speed automatic transmission and produces 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. The 1.3-liter engine is also available with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission.

The Trailblazer delivers a comfortable ride. Due to its compact size and well-weighted steering, the SUV is perfect for city maneuvers. With a suspension tuned for off-road capability, the Activ trim offers light off-road capability. With the Trailblazer, you can customize your ride with up to three drive modes, namely Normal, available All-Wheel Drive, and available Sport. You'll receive good fuel economy from the Trailblazer. When paired with a front-wheel-drive system, the 1.3-liter engine earns ratings of 29 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.

For its size, the Trailblazer has a spacious cabin. Apart from a high roof that provides plenty of headroom, the Trailblazer boasts best-in-class rear legroom. The rear cargo area offers 25.3 cubic feet of space, which you can extend to 54.4 cubic feet by folding the rear seats down. The front passenger seat can also be folded down for those times that you want to haul longer items. Added functionality and convenience are provided by a reversable two-tier adaptable cargo system. The standard 7-inch infotainment system is well-equipped. Apart from wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto compatibility, the system is equipped with six speakers, SiriusXM, and a Wi-Fi hot-spot. Other standard interior features include an electronic parking brake, cloth upholstery, and single-zone manual climate control. The higher trims add a few upgrades, such as keyless start, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and leatherette seats.

All Trailblazer trims are equipped with the Chevy Safety Assist suite, which consists of six advanced driver-assist features. Standard systems include forward-collision alert and emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, and lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning. You also receive a following distance indicator and Intellibeam high-beam assist. Additional standard safety features include a rear-vision camera and a rear-seat reminder. For an even safer ride, opt for available systems, such as lane-change alert with side blind-zone alert, rear traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
