2023 Buick Envision
If you're looking for an upscale small SUV, the 2023 Buick Envision is a superb option. It offers sophisticated styling, a spacious and luxurious cabin, a refined ride, and lively performance. With a choice of three stylish trim levels and the option of all-wheel drive, you can get the features to suit your needs and your budget.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Envision is available in Preferred, Essence, and Avenir trim levels. The Preferred model comes standard with keyless entry, LED headlights and daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated power mirrors, silver roof rails, and LED taillights. Step up to the Essence trim for unique 18-inch wheels, mirror memory settings, and a hands-free power tailgate with LED logo projection.
The top-of-the-range Avenir adds enhanced LED headlights, a welcome light sequence, dynamic cornering lighting, 20-inch wheels, and a panoramic power moonroof. An available Sport Touring package for Preferred and Essence trims features 20-inch dark gray wheels, black trim and roof rails, and a unique ST grille and badging.
Engine (Power)
Powering every Envision is a perky 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It's mated to a slick-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive with an active twin clutch as an option for all models. The engine features stop/start technology that can be deactivated if you choose.
Performance
In the Envision, you can enjoy a smooth and quiet ride while also savoring a rewarding driving experience. It offers confident handling and a zero to 60 mph time of 7.7 seconds. The Avenir's continuous damping control enhances the refinement of the ride even further. The Envision returns up to 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg for highway driving.
Interior
The Envision's comfortable, high-tech cabin seats five people, along with 25.2 cubic feet of cargo volume. Folding down the 60/40-split rear seats gives you a 52.7-cubic-foot cargo area. The Preferred trim offers push-button start, cruise control, and a 4.2-inch driver information center. Essence models add an 8-inch instrument display, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control, while the Avenir has ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a 110-volt power outlet.
The infotainment system has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker audio system with satellite radio. The Preferred trim gets an 8-inch touchscreen, while other models have a 10.2-inch touchscreen, along with voice recognition, a wireless phone charger, and satellite radio. The Avenir trim features a GPS navigation system and a nine-speaker Bose sound system with HD radio.
Safety Features
Standard driver assistance features for the Envision include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, a following distance indicator, front pedestrian braking, lane change warning, blind-spot warning, lane keeping assist, and rear cross-traffic warning.
A safety alert seat uses vibrations to warn the driver of hazards, while teen driver functions enable you to set limits for young drivers. The Avenir trim also has a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, HD surround vision, and an enhanced automatic parking system.
